Great spot for upscale ish seafood in Coronado. We came here because out visitor wanted some seafood. We went on a Saturday with no reservations and was able to get a seat. They have parking in the back alley. Drinks: I ordered the Yuzu Citrus Martini and enjoyed it, reminds me of a lemon drop shot, quite tasty. Food: we tried their oysters, it was great but a bit overpriced. We got 1 dozen. Appetizers: we didn't get apps but I did try a cup of the chowder and it was so delicious, I'd def recommend that if you're a chowder girlie. Entrees: My partner enjoyed the lobster tacos. It comes with 2 tacos, a side of veggies and a side of fries Our friend got the wok seared tuna and he had a clean plate, probably the best bang for your buck. It comsauce. White rice and topped with sauce. I got the tiger shrimp and grits and I throughly enjoyed it. They have great serving so I didn't have any leftovers. The grits were topped with bacon bits and cheese, and the shrimp were pretty large. See pics

This place was okay - I had higher expectations for the food. Crab cakes were excellent. The brussel sprouts appetizer was good but it felt like it was overly sweet and lacked a strong flavor to carry it. The bacon wrapped shrimp was overwhelmed by too much bacon and you didn’t really taste the shrimp.

We thought of enjoying some Brigantine's for Happy Hour before heading to an event at the Hotel Del Coronado across the street. There was a table available for the three of us on arrival which was nice. Alyssa was out waitress and was very attentive. It seems like the restaurant is a bit understaffed as we had several different staff members delivering us food and drinks which also meant getting an additional bowl for the clam chowder became a bit more of an inquiry. Margaritas were as always very nice but we're spoiled with other restaurants pouring these and us drinking them at home. Fish tacos were satisfactory, more because of the fish than the other parts of the dish. Clam chowder nice and creamy and the nachos had potato chips, not tortilla chips to our surprise. I did not check the menu to see if this is mentioned more in detail, but it may help to emphasize on this bit. Lastly, the ahi poke to start with was nice and fresh. All in all, 8/10 which is a decent score for a decent experience.

Everything was great! Highly recommend. We had the salmon and the swordfish. Both made very well. However, I’d recommend less butter on the swordfish. Waitress was great and the vibes were very casual. Prices were good, especially compared the The Del Coronado.

First time patron. The All American Burger was fantastic! Perfectly cooked! Fries were ok. Otto was our server. He was very professional and attentive! Great atmosphere and very clean.
