Went off the beaten path to Brunina’s @bruninapizzapasta Pizza & Pasta and it was well worth the trip 🍕🔥 Started with a margherita pizza and calamari fritti, then dove into linguine & clams, eggplant parmigiana, and chicken with ziti in vodka sauce. After being told by another local restaurant that they don't serve pizza the last two hours that they were open, I went online and found Brunina's. What a stroke of luck! My brother and I each had a fabulous calzone. It was so good that I asked about having mom's funeral luncheon there. The manager Trevis was happy to open three hours early to accommodate us (that other restaurant would not open early for dad's last year). I chose several items from the menu to offer the guests and they were ready for us! The service was excellent, the ingredients were fresh and the portions were generous. Everyone was very happy with the meal and the service. Thank you to everyone for making the celebration of my mom so special.
Bruninas never disappoints. Small but comfortable bar area to grab a couple glasses of wine and a pizza. Plenty of tables inside and out. Consistently solid service as soon as you sit down. Plenty of variety on the menu. It's a very good value spot. Enjoy.
Ordered a pizza for pick up, a large half cheese and half pepperoni and banana peppers. Was made to pay before they even brought out the pizza + a tip for walking up myself? (I tipped 2.00 before even seeing the pizza ) when I got home and looked at it, this is what I received for 25$. One of the worst pizzas I’ve ever seen.
So happy to have this delightful restaurant near our home. We usually do take out just because we work around lots of people all day and like the quiet of home late in the day. The food is delicious every time. We appreciate the efforts of the young women who take to go orders and smile when we arrive for the pick up. Thanks Bruninas!
