Yaaaaay I found my new favorite place to shop!!! No more paying expensive prices at the mall or ordering less than quality items online! I went in clothes mentor for the first time yesterday just to grab a sweater not really knowing what to expect to find… I found my favorite two labels immediately and I cleaned out the whole rack! I had to just stop looking because everything in there is high end, high quality and incredibly organized and easy to find. Also the staff was so friendly and happy to help without being obtrusive. I met Katy and she helped me with loading my dressing room. Thank you Katy I’m so excited to pick my outfit today 😻
My experience from drop off and pick up were on extreme ends of the spectrum and without the pleasant beginning I’d unfortunately be giving 1 stars. I’ve never been to this location before and upon arriving the ladies were friendly and kind, welcoming me and offering assistance explaining the process of selling. I dropped off my things, a fair bit still new with tags. I didn’t expect to sell much but at least the name brands or more trendy items. I got the text that my items were priced and headed over. They must have had a shift change because it was different girls, more high school or early 20s aged and the energy was completely different. My items were disorganized one bag in the basket saying suspend and the other alone saying pass. The new girl begins talking so fast, I asked her to slow down because literally couldn’t understand what she was saying. She starts speaking slower, but more in a condescending way explaining what items weren’t taken, and that they’d be interested in the ones in the basket. Then proceeds to remove the bag out of the basket showing me 2 items both obviously new with tags and says “ we are offering three twenty”. $3.20 for those 2 items? (nwt under armour bra and purse) She says “yes or you can just pass if it’s not good enough for you” I was baffled by how rude and judgemental she was. Granted I definitely knew the experience was likely to be similar to Plato’s closet. I didn’t expect a ton. I was more shocked by the demeanor and juxtaposition from when I had come in. When I said no thank you she flung the two items into the stuffed bag and turned her back to me to chat with her other young coworkers. I left feeling shamed. I had name brand items. Her explanations, at least what I understood, didn’t align with what I had given them. At the end the clothing wasn’t even the big deal it was the treatment. This was really just an awful experience and I won’t be back or recommend to anyone
Carolina was super helpful. She greeted me when I came in and share all the sales going on. I’ ve been there multiple times, and everything she is there, she is always helpful and working very hard.
Got a great deal on a pair of Mignonne Gavigan earrings for my granddaughter! Love their online shop!
Have always had a great experience shopping here. Have brought in clothes to sell as well and have always been met with a smile and friendly interactions. Morgan is very kind checking out. Nobody is too overbearing they let you shop and there for you when you need. Highly recommend for consignment shoppers (or savers rather)
