Fishing with Captain John in Cape Canaveral, Fort Meyers SWF is Amazing!!! I booked a half day, which BTW Cap John had the best price and the value in the area hands down. We stopped in several places and I caught so many fish I mean as soon as my bait hit the bottom I was reeling in a fish! Some were small some were big so much fun and fast paced. He always made sure the hook had bait and he removed all the fish that I caught so that I didn’t have to worry about getting barbed or bitten or hooked. We stopped by several places and I will be returning to the area that had the sea trout which bite good but are hard to catch. My father in law who has never went fishing in his life caught 2 large sheep’s head and he was thrilled about eating them as well. I reeled in a 2 ft eel that was biting everything. Captain John explained that in all his years he had never pulled that particular creature from the depths. I had went on fishing trips similar in concept many times before but this adventure is by far the best because of the attention to detail. One thing I will say is that he didn’t skimp on bait we fished with very expensive shrimp and that’s what kept the fish filling up the boat. Highly recommend this service
We went on one of his afternoon trips and the weather was beautiful. It was a little windy and with that he offered a better day (personally the wind was lovely for being in the sun. Amazing customer service! His boat was super clean and he had plenty to offer such as drinks. He provided insight on what we wanted to catch, helped us and I even caught a small black-tip reef shark! I would definitely recommend going in one of Caption John trips, they are 100% worth it!
I chartered a 1/2 day trip with Capt. John to take my Daughter and 2 teen Grandkid's fishing in the Pine Island sound and had an active fantastic time. Capt. John was so helpful and made everything easy and fun. The conditions weren't ideal (windy) but try getting 4 peoples work schedules to match. This was a great trip and there was never a dull moment and we caught and released a lot of fish, the Capt. knows the area well and I would recommend scheduling your trip ASAP, you won't regret the day. We will definitely be doing this again ..... Happy Fishing!
We come to Florida every year for a week. Part of our itinerary is always to spend a full day on the water with Captain John. This year, we caught 2 bull sharks (about 6 and 7 feet) and a wide variety of other fish. Our day was one that you would only dream about. Captain John truly knows the water and where we need to be to make it the absolute best possible day. Highly recommended!
