I had a great experience with Confident Smile Dentistry. Rebecca and Tristan as well as Dr. Nguyen, put me at ease and provided excellent care and instructions. I left with a clear treatment plan and look forward to my next service appointment at Confident Smile Dentistry.
Please be very careful coming here! I saw there were bad reviews about a male hygienist being rough during cleanings, so when I got there for my first appointment I asked the office manager, Tristan, about it. He assured me that the male hygienist did just “very thorough cleanings” and wasn’t rough. I did notice he was rough during my cleaning but chalked it up to the “thoroughness” Tristan had described. I should’ve known better, as I’ve had plenty of cleanings in my life and knew he really didn’t need to be that rough. However, when I got into my car after my cleaning I felt burning above one of my teeth and it turned into a full-blown abscess within 2 days. Now I have 1-2mm of my gums missing where the abscess had formed, which you can see in the pictures. Dr. Nguyen didn’t touch anywhere near that part of my mouth when I was there, so I know it was due to the cleaning. When I called and told Tristan what had happened, he had me send my photos to the office line and he said he would call me back once he talked with Dr. Nguyen. It’s been 4 days now and no call back. I had an appointment to get a scan for the 3M aligners which are thousands of dollars out of pocket. Apparently they just don’t care! If you want permanent gum damage, make an appointment here.
Had my first appointment here as a new patient, and I was genuinely impressed by the entire team. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help whenever I needed anything. Dr. Chi was excellent—she checked on me multiple times during my exam and fillings to make sure I was comfortable and not experiencing any pain. I’m so glad I found this office and will definitely be returning!
I have been going to Confident smile for over 10 years and would not trust my dental care to anyone else. I can not speak highly enough of Dr. Chi & her amazing staff. Dr. Chi is to dentistry what Bruce Lee was to martial arts! She is the best! An absolute master of her craft.
I absolutely love Dr. Chi Nguyen and her staff! I’ve had five visits, and every one of them has been great! I’ve had no pain in any of my visits. They are professional and very caring. My dental assistant, excuse me if I misspell her name, Shrylea, is funny and friendly. She knows her stuff. They make you comfortable and don’t want you to feel any discomfort. Even my deep cleaning was never an issue. No pain there either. I will be recommending Confident Smile Dentistry to anyone who needs a dentist. Even their referrals are professional and caring. They referred me for a root canal & that team also made me comfortable. I felt no pain for the root canal, even after the anesthesia wore off. This was another great experience. So whoever they refer you to, will be as professional as they are. So glad I found this dental facility. This dental practice is clean, caring, very friendly, & personable.
