I worked with this firm for about 6 months or so. I Went to therapy and some specialists that they recommended to me, only for them to tell me they can’t represent me anymore because it’s not enough evidence or proof of my injury being from the slip and fall. Now the problem is I didn’t hear anything from my attorney for Atleast a month or so. I finally called into the office and was informed that they couldn’t represent me anymore, sad to say now I’m stuck with all these expensive bills from the chiropractor and specialist, had someone would of called me I would of been able to determine what I needed to do next. Thanks, but no thanks on when it comes to business with this firm.

Dennis Hernandez, the owner of this firm, never once returned my calls. (but claims that they fight for you ) I reached out multiple times trying to get answers about my case and was ignored. I was left without consistent counsel at random points because, as it was explained to me, attorneys were not being paid what was negotiated. My case had been ongoing for almost two years when Jim Hollway contacted me and told me that liability showed I might be at fault based on a police report. That statement was not true. The officer never came to the scene or conducted an investigation due to Hurricane Helene. Jim Hollway later admitted this via email, which was extremely upsetting after being told my case was weak based on something that didn’t even exist. To make matters worse, Jim Hollway failed to properly file the withdrawal of my case, causing further delays. From what I experienced, cases were reassigned because attorneys were leaving, and my case appeared to no longer be worth the trouble. In my opinion, Dennis Hernandez does not fight for every client equally. It felt like priority was given only to cases that would bring in more money, not to existing clients or even his own staff. The lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through was exhausting and stressful. Before signing anything, I strongly recommend speaking directly with the attorney who will actually handle your case and asking clear questions about compensation, continuity, and what happens if attorneys leave the firm. The work ethic and attention you receive seem to reflect those internal issues.
