We loved our tech. He was knowledgeable and professional. We had our annual maintenance and flush for the tankless water heater. It was easy to schedule the appointment and to pay remotely and we will receive a reminder to schedule next year.
When HRI was owned by Mark Dussault a couple years ago, it was a fantastic business. Mark was instrumental in setting up my whole house propane generator with a smart switch so that the system came on automatically whenever power to the house was cut off. Mark was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and always took great care of me with regard to my propane gas system. Unfortunately, Mark sold HRI, and it has been an absolute disaster since then! I would normally not put anything negative about a company in a review on the Internet, but this business, under new management, simply cannot be trusted. I paid a "technician" who works for, or possibly is even a part owner of HRI Mechanical, over 7 months ago to run an extension of a propane gas line extension from an existing propane gas line currently connected to a Navien tankless water heater I had Mark Dussault's team install on an outside wall of my house, to my outdoor gas grill. The technician assured me that he could do that job for $300. and accepted that amount in cash up front, with the promise to get the line installed the next week. Since that time, over the last 7 months, all I have heard is excuses for why the job was not done, and continued promises that it would be done soon and I would be very happy with the work. Nothing was ever done, and in spite of supposedly "escalating" the situation to management, I have never received a refund of the $300. I paid 7 months ago. I have learned the hard way that this company can no longer be trusted to do as they promise, and obviously is not a company I would recommend to anyone.
HRI Mechanical really came through for me. I had to call late at night and they showed up fast, which I really appreciated. The tech was on time, super professional, and took care of everything—he replaced my thermostat, did some maintenance, and cleared the drain line. What stood out was that he actually explained what he was doing so I understood it. Overall, just great service. I’d definitely call them again and recommend them to anyone. Thanks again for your help.
Troy is always prompt, professional and courteous. I rely on them for annual service on my generator. I highly recommend them!
Very pleased with the service, I had a small outdoor fireplace that was not lighting, they came out and fixed it quickly.
