Absolutely 100% recommended... We would absolutely go back! Melody Bar & Grill completely exceeded expectations. The energy was incredible from the moment we walked in, super welcoming crowd, polite staff, and an all-around amazing vibe. The live jazz band was phenomenal and really brought the whole place to life. The food was seriously next level... high quality, flavorful, and surprisingly very affordable. The fried green beans and beet salad were absolutely off the hook. Drinks were fantastic too! Huge shoutout to our bartender, she was basically a one-person army at times, yet still kept everything running smoothly and made sure everyone was taken care of and had a drink in hand to enjoy the excellent LIVE Jazz band. Great people, amazing music, outstanding food, and unbeatable value — this place is a gem in LA!
Came in after work for food. I ordered Gilroy fries (garlic), jalapeno calamari, and Melody Burger. Very tasty. As it was my first visit, I was not aware of the happy hour offerings. It was close to the cut off 6PM when I placed my order. I asked the bartender beforehand if it would still be happy hour price I'm getting since we're cutting it close and he said it would be. Time stamp on order receipt said 6PM but I still ended up paying the full price. The bartender couldn't do anything about it since prices are hard coded into the POS system with no way to modify it. Not happy about it but it is what it is. Lesson learned. Other than that hiccup, it's good sport bar ambiance, staff are nice and they recognize regulars. Hopefully my next visit is smoother.
Very cool place with the best tacos and nachos I've had in months. I wasn't able to stay for karaoke but it looks like a place I'd give it a go. Drinks were great too. Tuesday special prices make it a must if there during the week.
First time, Great place for drinks. The drinks were very good too, the bartender and staff was very nice, all of our drinks tasted great too. Enjoy the vibe, people dancing to the live jazz playing. I didn't have the food, it was late to be eating for me but I did see the food and it look very appetizing, next I will be ordering something. I will be going back and telling my family and friends about the place. Thank you.
Food is good drinks are great when you can place an order. Saturday and Friday night are busy and you only have 2 bartenders. Wait time for a drink is 45 mins. Not the bartender fault but you guys need at least 4
