A LONG overdue message of thanks! As the saying goes ‘better late than never’ we just want to take a moment to FINALLY thank Orlando Murillo of Murillo Construction Homes for a job well done! It was around this time last year that after seeing the FABULOUS kitchen renovation & upgrade that Murillo Construction did at a family member’s home, that we KNEW that we’d be also contacting the Murillo Team for work on our home! In Spring of 2025, we contacted Orlando, he came to our home and immediately caught our vision for how we foresaw a reworking of our kitchen, family room and possibly extending our 1st floor half bath into a full 3 piece w/ a shower. He respected that we would need to do the work in stages as finances permitted. He even shared his ideas about how he could make even greater improvements! We loved his enthusiasm; we trusted his integrity (as a retired Navy Veteran); & after witnessing the awesome transformation of our family member’s home…we knew that Murillo Construction would be OUR contractor going forward! Within a short time of his initial visit, we received an email with a full PROFESSIONAL prospectus of the cost breakdowns of each job. After careful review, so that we could save a few dollars, & we opted out of window replacements (after our research learned we could replace the parts to make our windows function properly ourselves) & we purchased our house paint. Orlando readily agreed, the updated contract with the final changes was re-send, we signed it and work began shortly afterwards. We started with basic but necessary overall home upkeep. The trim on the entire house was scraped & re-painted, including the soffits & shutters, and the woodwork on our entire front porch (which was severely damaged due to age) was meticulously repaired, reinforced and painted. Every morning the Murillo team arrived bright and early, beginning work promptly at 8am…at the end of each day, they cleaned up and all that remained was the vast improvement that they had completed during the course of each day! Within a few days, the work was done! Our house looked shiny and new! After the job was finished, Orlando returned to our home to ensure that we were pleased with the work that was done. We were delighted to inform him of our appreciation for the professional & thorough well-done job and that …. at SUCH a reasonable price, we could not have been more pleased! Our thanks to Orlando & his team for a job that exceeded our expectations! NOW, one year later, we are ready for the next phase, Orlando returned to our home last week and we laid out & discussed our next home improvement projects… family room upgrades AND an entire kitchen renovation. He explained what will be entailed and took measurements. When he left, we felt confident that our family room will be more ‘user friendly’ especially as we age & that OUR kitchen could look just as awesome as our family member’s kitchen CONTINUES to look a year later! We know and look forward to the in-depth itemized prospectus of the cost that Murillo Construction will be e-mailing us shortly! Stay tuned for our next review once our Spring 2026 upgrades are completed by MURILLO CONSTRUCTION! In conclusion, as you determine your construction needs, give Orlando Murillo a call. Where do I begin?! Reyes came in and did what he had to do! The contractors were extremely professional and asked questions to make sure that I was happy with what was being done. If anything needed adjustments, he knocked it out with no problem! Even something as simple as putting the faucet mount or flush with the sink. I appreciate the attention to detail and the extra effort! Nowadays, people aren't reliable when it comes to doing contractor work. However, Murillo construction went over and beyond to ensure it was done right and to my liking! AND the price was reasonable for the work that I needed done! If you need any work done, I would HIGHLY recommend this company!
The workers for Murillo were outstanding, they were on time and professional. The Electrician, Plumber, and general construction guys carry Murillo's business. I say that because Murillo needs and should do better with his attention to detail, providing a itemized computer program and paperwork. Like I said he falls short and cant show you what you have bought or agreed to. Has issues answering phone calls when called and daily detailed work between workers and myself. Had to reopen my wall after it was completly installed due to Murillo not communicating with workers. The workers are great but during our construction phase we had to chase Murrilo instead of him providing us with daily updates and daily work details to come EVERYDAY. A good guy, GREAT workers(I cant say enough about the workers) but business is business, do better with clients and what they are purchasing. I am happy with the construction side and end product.
I want to thanks to Murillo Construction Homes and their professional team for the excellent job that they did at my house. They built my house with all details as we agree on the contract. Good quality of work and atención to details. Clean after themselves every working day throughout the Construction process. Very friendly and trustworthy. My family and I are very satisfied with this company and we recommend to any body whose is looking for a good and honest construction company
Murillo Construction recently finished multiple major renovation projects so, I’m updating my previous review. They did a phenomenal job renovating my attic space, adding a full bathroom rough-in, building steps from the second floor using existing two existing closets and turning the detached two-story garage into an apartment with a full kitchen. The renovation required the HVAC to be re-run, electrical to be upgraded, and plumbing to be added. The employees were extremely knowledgeable in their specific crafts and were always polite and professional. They are some of the hardest working construction workers I have had the pleasure of working with in this industry. The owner of the company was also very responsive to any issues I had and resolved them immediately. I have had difficulty finding good contractors over the last several years, but I will continue to use them for all of my needs. Not only were they very professional and treated my home as though it was their own, but they were very affordable and reasonable. Previous post: I had a French drain and a trench installed by Murillo Construction, and they were very professional and their prices were very reasonable. They are currently completing two major renovation projects that are going well so far. The attention to detail and professionalism has been A+ so far. I will come back and complete another review once the other projects have been finished.
