We are in the process of purchasing a condo in Naples. The water heater that is currently in place is old. We called Privette to see about a replacement. The water heater is turned so that we are unable to see the label listing the size, which is important in order to obtain a proper permit. There were other questions Privette asked and we tried to give them as much information as we could, even involving the inspector who offered to try and help. This is a challenging situation because we are not in Florida until March 1. Finally, our realtor said he was willing to meet a Privette technician at the new condo to actually look at the old water heater. We thought that was good news! We telephoned to try and set a time and date up and were met with a surly, rude woman who answered the phone. Rather than listen to what we were trying to say and working with us, she expressed that this was not Privette's problem, it was ours and then she abruptly hung up on us! How shameful. This was the end to an almost two week back and forth with them. Obviously, they are not willing to go an extra step to help a customer or interested in doing business with anyone who has an unusual issue. This woman does not represent professionalism or display respect for the customer that is needed for a small business ......or maybe she does for this business. We do not recommend this company and if you read other reviews, you will see a pattern of customer disregard and disrespect. We called another plumbing company. They didn't think our problem was that unique as Privette seemed to suggest and sent a technician over who measured and easily determined the correct size to pull the permit.

I made an appointment with Faye in the office. She was professional and clear about the cost for the service I required. Dale, Gerald and Joe showed up on time and hydro jetted three lines and cleared a clog that was causing a back up. They were professional and completed the job quickly. I have had many companies perform a similar function at this address over the past 30 years. Privette Plumbing is by far the best and the price they charged was more than fair.

Privette was the 4th plumbing company to come out to diagnose a smell in the bathroom, and the only one to actually find the issue. Joey was excellent and trustworthy. He did not try to upsell me on extra work or maintenance contracts (unlike the other companies). I will definitely recommend Privette to everyone, and use them again in the future!

Called to make an appointment weeks in advance because we were only going to be at condo for a short period of time. Appointment time came and went; when I called we weren't even on the schedule. Called office, left message and received a call back. Plumber was sent out within an hour. He showed up with an attitude like we had interrupted his day. Did work requested, we paid him (reasonable price) and he left. One of the things to fix was a leaky faucet. It continued to leak, even worse than before he came. Called office three times leaving messages. Never received a call back. Finally called from another phone pretending to be new customer. Promptly received call back. They did come out next day to fix the problem. While reasonably priced we could not recommend this business due to poor customer service.
