Super wide beach with nice soft sand, but a few shells to avoid if you're walking barefoot. If you want to walk in the water, I would suggest surf shoes since there are many shells. Unfortunately there is no area on the beach conducive to bicycling

This place is honestly a little slice of paradise. It is so well maintained and quiet compared to other public beaches, which makes it perfect if you actually want to hear the waves instead of a giant crowd. The sand is incredibly soft and the water is beautiful, so I ended up spending the entire afternoon just lounging and reading. It is the kind of spot that makes you feel like you are truly on vacation, and I already cannot wait to go back.

I was really looking forward to a day on the sand here, but I found the access rules to be pretty frustrating. This area is very strictly private, and unless you have the specific local permit or are staying in a qualifying rental, you aren't allowed past the gates. I ended up having to turn around and find a different public spot further down the coast. While the beach itself looked absolutely pristine and very quiet from a distance, it felt a bit unwelcoming to travelers just passing through the area. If you aren't a local resident, it is probably better to skip the hassle and head straight to one of the public access points instead.

Gorgeous large beach. Only giving it a 4 as its so sad this very large stretch of beach is all private. It is definitely big enough to open it to the public. I dislike the fact that so many ocean beaches are not accessible to all. I understand it- but no one owns the ocean but the access to them are private. Thank you to the extremely lovely couple who invited us for the afternoon.

The elderly tollbooth attendant that was there on Saturday 5/23 around 3:30pm had a very bad attitude. We are residents of the island, but did not renew our passes because we usually enter through the Marriott. We were simply exiting the beach through the residents Beachway access. I’m not sure if he was having a bad day, or is upset with the choices he has made in his life that have led to him becoming an elderly tollbooth attendant, but that is no way to talk to ANYONE that has the means to travel to Marco Island, especially people that own property on the island. I believe his name may have been Mark, but can’t really be too sure. Not important enough to remember, just hoping his boss reads this.
